I grabbed this off the bay. Basically it is unchanged from then. This blade had a little polish, but I was scared to unpin it to get a few of the stains for fear of messing up the scales and bolsters. I just thought it was pretty to look at.
Honed on the Naniwa to 12K and stropped on webbed fabric and the Premium IV bridal strop from SRD. Shaves like a dream!

It does. I honed it on the Naniwa hones and its smooth as butter. I have it in the classifieds though. I am falling in love with 5/8 stainless. I love it, but since I will not be using it much, I figured someone else could enjoy it. So many people rat-hole these razors that no one else has an opportunity to get them. Rather than put it in a cabinet, I figure someone else can use it.
