Here's 3 Hess Hair Milk Lab. razor, I just finnished up
    Hess #1
cleaned blade an original scales, other then some pitting it came out pretty well
    Hess #99
It was the best of the 3 blades. Cleaned up well, scales are jade green G10 (thanks brando), G10 wedge, 3rd pin, Nickel silver rod & brass washers. After get it together and playing with it, I think I'm going to go back and take a little width off the rear of the scales.

Scales are the set I had on the Greaves razor I posted earlier. The big Greaves blade just set a little deeper then I was comfortable with. So I used the horn scales for the Hess. Changed out the wedge to accommodate the new blade, wedge is blue acrylic with white liner.

I'll throw in a pic of the Greaves with the new scales.
