Thanked: 13245Wade & Butcher His & Her set
Well this was a first for me... A His & Her set of straight razors...
Both are W&B's
Her's is a "Special" 4/8 polished and wrapped in Kingwood scales with all brass hardware...
His' is "The Celebrated" Extra Hollow Ground 7/8 polished and wrapped in Zircote' with all brass hardware...
Both have Ebony wedges and both have a hand-rubbed Tru-Oil finish I went to 10 coats on these and a fairly high gloss finish, I wanted to make sure that they would be totally waterproof as I figured Her's would get more wet then His (this I asked my wifey about)
Anyway here are the pics of my first His & Her Set of Straight razors

Great work Glen. The razors look really nice and the scales are awesome. What i like the best is the "His & Hers" name... simply perfect for this set.

Both Glen and I always work in synergy. I'm telling you, the cosmos works in mysterious ways G!
Indeed, the G strikes again. Love it.

Beautiful! The small and the large.Nice traditional scale style. Are the blades more satin than mirror?IMHO that works better for older Sheffields.

Gorgeous brace there G-Man. Very Yin / Yang.

Thanked: 1072When you see them standing next to each other they actually look very masculine/feminine. Beautiful work.

Those are absolutely beautiful! And the best part...they are coming my way! My wife (razorgal) is very excited to get started straight shaving (though still quite nervous, lol). These razors will be our first experience shaving with vintage blades.
Thank you very much for sharing your skills!
