Default OCD Razors custom Humpback in ironwood burl

I thought I wood try to make a humpback and this is what turned out. Other than the humpback it is rather plain with no file work, straight spine, square ends on blade and scales, jinks top and bottom. Scales are of exibition grade desert ironwood with a 9 layer ca finish. Although it doesn't show well in the pics, the 7/8's blade is pollished to a mirror finish.

    Thanks for looking

Wow Bob, your total post count is going through the roof . Looks good man, little different for my taste but awsome all the same. Thanks as always for sharing with us and keep it up. Now I just need to talk you into making me a small wedge, 5/8's, 11/16's range.............no no no, my wallet(and my wife more than likely) would have to put that thought on hold..on that note...Bob, you need a razor tester?? I know a guy .

Everyone, thanks for your kind words.

The pistol is a custom STI .40 cal. Holds 18 + 1 and is the pistol I shoot in IPSC competitions.

If you look on STI's website it is very similar to the one they call the EDGE

Those are hippo tusks and they tell me they are ivory, not elephant ivory but hippo ivory.

They are about 10" long and about 1 3/8" in diameter and pretty heavy for their size.

    They make beautiful scales
