Default Wade and Butcher Frame Back

This is my third re-scale and blade restore in cocobolo with the original wedge in lead with added brass liners Ive yet to perfect the pinning process but will convert them when I do, dont know if it shows but I beveled and rounded the scale profile and really like it I included a pic as you can see of my progress in razor scale making with the first two being 5/8 razors that I did pin but, their ruff

Very nice. I really like the patina on the blade, seems to suit quite nicely.

Yes on the rounded scales and patina with me it was certinly intentional I don't try and get a mirror finish on the old blades and really like the sense of history as for the profile I think it feels better and glad you all like it

I've got a couple of those old W&B framebacks. I've always loved the look. I think your scale work looks plenty good and I too like the rounded scales. Nice to be able to do that with razors that need it ... or just because you want to. I've yet to try it but maybe someday.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I like it. The pins look fine to me. that get easier with practice. Really nice measurements to and the brass liners are really tough to do as well I know.
Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more.

That's a gorgeous blade but do you mind me asking why that middle pin seems so high?

the middle pin was an after thought because the blade sat a bit low, I wish I had not placed it but thats just part of the learning proccess for me ,so no reason other than thats where it ended up at this point I still need to tweek the rescales quite abit due to my inexperience
