    amboyna burl ca finished mono scale
    the steel is 1095/15n20
    gold wash 2-56 screws
    what you all think

    +1 I like the more traditional look of your recent stuff. I have one of the 5100 steel and it is great. I also have one of your old 'modern' looking dams and it is a great shaver but your recent stuff is more to my taste.

    It's beautiful, Butch! The steel looks great, & you get hold of some incredible scale materials.
    If i were to change anything it would be the point, but that's just personal preference on aesthetics.

    Of coarse the scales are stunning, but I really like the particular pattern you've achieved in the blade. Very nicely done.
