    Default Greaves Wedge Restored

This is my first Restoration replacing new brass pins only.Complete teardown, the scales were very dry and delaminating near the pivot as well as a concerning crack at the wedge pin hole treatment = epoxy. The blade unfortuantly was put to the grinder prior to me getting it and I just did what I could so there are still scratches, I know there's flaws but I just enjoy the work and excellence will come at some point Im happy with the results you can see the dome washers dont sit well but the pins are tight and tomorrow Ill hone it or try and then post up a shave of the day.

Thanks to tat2ralfy for the advice
and all the other SRP members

Very nice work. I'd love to get my hands on a razor like that...

I thought that was just the money he could be saving by switching to Geico...

Nice restore! I love seeing original scales being brought back to life like that. I imagine the razor didn't look much different from that 125+ years ago when it had it's first shave.
