Thanked: 188Joseph Mappin Restoration
This restoration is a Joseph Mappin & Brother NO.32 Norfolk Street Sheffield Lancet Edge Razor Registered Jany. 22nd 1848.
The original pictures show the razor as it was purchase at an auction sale. The scales are Blonde Horn with a black wedge lined with brass. This is the first horn scales I have attempted to make and was quite a different experience than making g10 scales. The blade was quite a challenge to get to a mirror finish and took quite some time. I appreciate all of the information you guys/gals share in the forum and Thank you for looking!
PS Have used all attachments. Any suggestions on how to put up 5 more pictures?
Ronnie

Very impressive with the before and after photos. That took a lot of work to get that blade looking like that. Cool looking blade too.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
