Thanked: 1072Bengall In Translucent horn
The eBay description said slight repair to handle but in good working order, and of coarse the picture didnt show the scale that was split and held together by 2 pieces of wire, but for 8 bucks you cant complain.
The scales were pretty much shot but I had to at least try saving them. Sanded away some rough bits, filled the crack and some other holes with epoxy, Then sanded and reshaped a little.
The blade got hand sanded carefully (didnt want to loose that etch) up to a respectable mirror finish. Acrylic wedge and all pinned together with brass pins and stacked brass washers.
Dont know how long that crack will hold together but I'll just wait and see."I aint like that no more...my wife, she cured me of drinking and wickedness"

Dude ! Nice save
If you have any doubts about the epoxy get some EpiGlue marine epoxy. Good match for blonde horn & amazing bond strength.
