    Default 13/16 Improved Eagle Razor

This is an Electric Razor Company "Improved Eagle Razor". My father bought this and several other razors at an antique shop. This razor has been polished only and no sandpaper was used by me. There are some scratches though they are light. I am unfamiliar with these razors and not sure how its going to hone out, it just doesn't feel right. The original scales were broken in the unpinning process due to severely bent pins and most importantly a lack of patience on my part . Anyone with any info on these razors would be greatly appreciated. If they are of good quality I will put it into the classifieds since I am razor poor, if they aren't let me know as I will put it on the 'bay for someone to collect. I still have a lot of polishing to do on the wedge area to smooth it out, but I don't think that will be too bad. Please note to all Dremel users, the scales were cut and the razor cleaned up all with a dremel used by a beginning amateur so they are useful.
    Stats:
Blade: 13/16 Improved Eagle Razor (Made in Germany by Electric Razor Co.)
Scales: Black Pearl Celluloid (Texas Knife Supply)
    Wedge: Reconstituted Stone
    Pins: NiAG/Stainless
    Wt: 2oz
    Thanks

Nice work! It polished up beautifully!
I've got a similar blade, with a spike point. Might get to work on it soon after seeing that.

Looks great, interesting wedge choice. For aesthetics or did you use the weight for balance?

I thought it matched well. I can never get a blade that heavy to balance unless I use wooden scales with a heavy wedge. It looks cool once its polished well though. I will tell you to be careful though because they will break easy when shaping, or at least I broke 3. Thanks guys!

A few companies have used that 'improved eagle' logo. Electric has a good rep.
