Default Wade and Butcher 6/8th Celebrated Hollow Ground

Done up in tung oil sealed Silk Oak that a friend gave me to play with. It is similar to Lacewood, but I personally like it a lot more. Wedge is marbled acrylic glued in place for the pin-less effect. Some pitting left, but I like the character it adds. Hinge pin is brass rod with silver solder fill.

The razor was actually a gift from a friend of my girlfriend. The original gold marbled bakelite scales were cracked in a number of places and poorly epoxied back together.

Hand sanded to clean up and then tumbled for 3 days in the harbor freight resin pyramids and 2 in corncob and turtle wax rubbing compound.

I love them too. Next up are a faux frameback 7/8ths and a full wedge 8/8ths. The faux frameback has some nasty pitting and such to it, but not near the edge so I think it will turn out fine. The chopper is just big and beautiful.

Looks awesome. You did a great job.

I have to get one of these to restore.
