Thanked: 127Wade & Butcher redo
This is the latest finished scales on a big W&B Chopper. The scales are Amboyna wood, the wedge is Gaboon Ebony and the liner is a vinyl impregnated spacer material.
I finished this in laquer and being a bit oversized, balanced the huge blade very well. Although this wood is quite expensive, it is very nice to work with.

Beautifully figured wood and a great job in fit and finish. You're a talented guy Rayman.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I love the contrast with the wedge and am very partial to lined wood scales. Great job

Beautiful lines... or should I say curves
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Great looking wood, gives that extra push to any razor and on this one it's perfect.
