Take it nice and slow, Bruno

The razor really does look like a weapon; you did a good job of executing your design. All shaving foes shall be vanquished by Brightnail!

Beautiful job Bruno. I love the shape of the blade and of the scales. I wish you well in getting the bevel set. I have had a couple of dams that I got from Robert Williams that needed to be honed (I requested them to be that way) and it did take a lot of work. Thank God for diamond plates. If I ever get another from him ..... or anyone... I'll ask that they be pre-honed.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Bruno, what a beautiful piece of art, I would imagine that once honed it will stay honed, if the steel is as hard as you say.

Wow, definitely quite a looker. I like all the shapes to me they all seem to go together excellently with each other and the grains showing. The matching bone spacer and 3rd pin rest in bottom pic is a great touch too.

Hello bruno, fairly new member here, just took a look at your razor and all I can say is "WOW". Truly a work of art. The blade and scales just seem to have a natural flow within each other, as if they were always meant to be together. Are you working on any others or have any others that you have created ? Would love to see photos... Good luck.. Keep us posted on the progress....

This is only the 2nd blade I made myself. The other one is here.
I am working on another blade of which the design is finished. After that I have some other projects in the works that are even better imo, but those are still in the 'ideas' stage.

    Bruno,

You have a great eye for design. I love the profile of that blade, it is perfect.

Beautiful Steel ! Beautiful Timber !
