Heya fellas, hope everyone had a fun new years!
I guess you could say that today has been a day of firsts for me, today I did my first attempt grinding, then my first attempt at hollow grinding, then my first filework.

Here are three razors (still works in progress) that I've got as a result of my day of playing in the shop. I know these probably look like they were ground with all of the skill of the famous pakistani razor-butchers that make those z**pk catastrophes, but what the heck... gotta start somewhere.

Comments and especially tips will be very well received.. All of these are around 1/4 grind, and all only have rough grinding done... heat treating will come next, then final grinding and finishing.

The first razor is a 13/16 I've kind of designed around some of my favorite stuff that other custom builders at SRP have done... hope it seems as an homage, not a rip off to anyone that has made one similar to this. I call the point a spike with a "shadow notch" (just a shadow of a notch.. get it). I added a vine file-work pattern to the spine. (I will add a macro pic so you can see the file-work better soon).

This next razor has a reverse tanto point, should be really wicked in the hand if it turns out! This one is also 13/16ths

This last razor is a smaller plain old spike point (5/8). Since this picture I added a few accents of file-work (i'll add a pic to let you see it soon).

So, I hope you enjoyed this humble attempt... I am a rookie at all of this, so any helpful hints or suggestions would be great. Have a nice day guys!
