Emperor Razor / Abalone Pearl acrylic scales
This is the second of Luc's batch & as we decided to preserve the etch it got no real coarse grit work.
Mostly 240 -400 flapwheels & some 600 wetndri. The rest was buffing with scotchbrite, compounds & Autosol on a looseleaf wheel.
Original scales were too narrow & dangerous allowing the heel to protrude so got to use my new Abalone Pearl acrylic . Never knew abalone formed pearls but there ya go. I like the overall look of this stuff & how it plays with light. Must remember to make myself a set of scales
NiAg. pins, stainless washers, brass thrust washers & original pewter wedge.
I'll hone this one up after doing a couple more so no shavetest yet.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
