    Default My first Boker

Boker King Cutter!!! I wanted a boker and I found this one. The original scales were in good shape and the blade was pretty clean. I decided to put some new scales on it (Don't tell anyone but I broke the original scales when I tore it down shhh!) I was originally going to do imitation tortoise but then I remembered I had these scales and said why not. The scales are two piece quilted maple and I really don't remember what the red wood is but it looks nice. The spacer is horn. The tang was kinda blued so I left it and didn't polish it out. The pictures are kinda dirty I took them while honing the blade, so there are finger prints all over the blade (sorry)

Good job Stephen. Those scales are awesome(did you make them).
    Should be a great shaver.

I got a Boker off a neighbor lady last summer, but I can't find it now. I got razors all over the house, you know. I think I got too many razors.

Yep I made them, when I cut them out there was another set that was the opposite color. They are on a razor that I sold a few months back. They are a little big for the blade but I don't care I love the way they look. That was probably about the 6th set of scales I built they have just been laying at my house for awhile now.

The razor shaves great I had my first shave with it last night
and Bob I didn't know one could have to many razors. I am down to about 8 now and always want more so If you need to pass some on

Thanks for the supports Bob, makes me feel good when a guy with your skill saying my stuff looks good.
