    Thumbs up Wade & Butcher, Sheffield 7/8 ~ G10 Blue/Black

This is a 'manufactured by Wade & Butcher - Sheffield'. Those are my favorite Wade & Butcher's. I love the 1/2 hollow grind and the sexy smiling edge and spine. Off course I love the way they shave.

Unfortunately it's not mine but at least I get to pamper and shave with it

The blade itself was in pretty good shape except some moderate surface crap, mostly on the tang, around the pivot and some on the spine. I polished it out with some high grit greaseless, black, white and green rouge on my trusted buffer. No need to mention this baby shines again.

It got fitted in the requested G10 blue/black with adjustable flathead torx screws and third pin. As for the tapered wedge I used a contrasting G10 black/tan. Third pin is silver nickel pin and washers.

Eventually I will need to send it back but for now it's enjoying my company.

    Enjoy.

Great looking job Max. Again you hit it spot on. Those scales are super sexy and that spacer was a very nice selection to blend in as it pops.

Max, your attention to detail is amazing. Thanks for what you do, you are an inspiration... I love how you handled the corners on the wedge end, carefully sanding each side flat to create a corner line. That really did it for me on this one. Even though I'm not wild about the material, you still created something I'd be proud to own. That is exactly why you'll never be without a razor to restore, Max!

I believe I heard a lovely metallic "PING" off this one. Looks super sweet in new G10.

Really nice looking, even the Torx look good, and you know I am not a huge fan of them, but you owned them ....

    The Blue/Black just plain rocks...
