Finally got back to So on the Kanji. His translation is:
Becchuu(Specially ordered) Ippon-Rennda (First class forging)
Kobayashi Kinsei (Humbly made by Kobayashi)The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

I need to touch up couple of these and hope I produce an edge like you did.
I had 18 shaves with Iwasaki, head shave ( sides only ) and two test shaves. It started tugging after the fact.

and i the same as you, i spare change for my dinner, BUT, i shave with an Iwasaki (and a Kanetake too, wich makes i don't even put butter on my bread !).
