    Default Frederick Reynolds 7/8

    My first custom restoration razor.
Frederick Reynolds 7/8 wedge, rescaled in Tan/Black G10.
    Wedge is Red/Balck G10
Nicel-Silver pins, stainless on Brass washers.

This fella had a slightly twisted tang, which gave me some fits but I think I corrected it pretty well.

A little credit where credit is due. This was my very first razor I bought, I had no tools so after some hand sanding the razor went to Glen for cleaning up the pitting.
I than ran it through sand paper , tumbler, polishers.

Pardon my photo skills, but I hope you guys like it.

    Thanks,
    shaves really smooth.
I do not like how wedges feel, somehow not enough feedback for my liking, and still irritation free a bit to my surprise.

    Quite a challenge ~ G10 & a twisted tang.
    Well done

Turned out great! I have that exact blade and it's been a real pain to restore mine.

It's really beautiful. I love the scales and the pin job is excellent. I love the fact that you restored it, rather than trying to grind yourself a new razor. I feel the same about wedges - love the way they look, don't like the way they shave.
