Crazy Awesomeness from Max - Boker #14
Okay. Max just made me very happy. He's been working on three of my razors for a while and just sent me the photos.
Here are before pics of this Boker #14 I picked up from the fleabag. It looked okay in pics, but needed some love... And the price was right.
I really wanted ram's horn, but no luck. So I requested regular horn instead and left the wedge up to Max... What I will get back (they're on their way) blew my mind. It's beautiful!... imho...
Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I did...

WOW!
A Boker #14! Never saw one, but when I read the thread title I guessed it would be a 7/8 to 8/8 blade.
Very nice!
Congratulations

I'd never seen one, either. It was from Argentina... I figure 60's or 70's. It's a real heavy razor, nicely built. I can't wait to give it a spin.

Thanked: 1262Nice. I love that he was able to upgrade the scales and still keep that classic look.

Good citizens:
Scott discovered a possibility and Max turned it into art. Good show.

I think I saw that one on the bay when it was listed.
Glad to see one of our own won it, and had Mad Max give it the full treatment.
Turned out looking spectacular as usual for Max's work.
