    1) bandsaw rough cut
    2) initial shaping on 80grit bench beltsander
    3) finalize shaping with 150 grit sandpaper by hand
    4) run through 220-320-400-600-800-1500 grit handsanding, removing all previous grit scratches
    5) buff @ ~2000rpm, loose cotton wheel with white rouge
    6) hand buff with clean rag, removing any rouge around the edges/pinning holes

    I have three of these and the are excellent shavers. It looks very classy.
