A batrazor! Nice work, you have just redefined what a true spike point is.

Wow. I just thought I had to be careful when shaving with a straight. This thing is completely unforgiving.

very, very nice - I'm scared, too. can imagine that thing with a mind of its own....amaing you do the spinework freehand - does ones little slip ruin it, or maybe not because it wouldnt cut that deep and you could just sand it out? (and of course you do the spine work before any sanding/smoothing/polishing). kudos.

    Very cool. Totally unique.

    How well does it shave?

I did slip one time, and I had to use a dremel to polish out the mark it made. Whoops

Shaves like a hot knife through warm butter. Like I said though, careful is the name of the game with this one. I could see the heel or the point either one digging in with no remorse. It's also a pita to strop. Can't do an x stroke with it or the heel digs into the leather. Something I didn't think about when I decided on the blade shape.

    Nice work!

I think if Batman shaved with a straight razor this would be it.

I was able to strop it fairly easily, and, yes, I was surprised, expected it to be difficult.. thumb notches always screw up my stropping motion though.

Maybe your motions are different than me... hopefully you don't tear up your strop.... round off those death spikes if you have to!
