    Default 6/8 Mappin & Webb wedge in Ebony/Orange G10

Been a while since I posted a resto. I have been really busy with my real job. I finally had time to bust this one out for a forum member. If I owe you one, it's coming soon I promise!!

This is a tad over 6/8" Mappin and Webb, nearly full wedge. I polished the blade but had to leave a little pitting near the stamps to retain them. The scales are in Ebony with a burnished Tung Oil finish with Renaissance Wax. The wedge is Bright Orange G10. I really like how this one turned out. I made the scales nice and thin and it balances perfectly.

Absolutely fantastic, Aquanin, I love it!

I love the thin scales and the thick orange wedge just says " Ba-boom! "...the wood choice and finish screams class!

Very nice! Orange G10 was a nice choice for the wedge.

Very nice! I really like your attention to detail on the scales..I wish I had that kind of eye.. Do you use calipers? Or, do you do it by eye?

Very Nice. The dark timber & scale shape really suits this one.

Very nicely done all around The pinning is good and the orange spacer makes it pop!
