Robeson in Transparent Red Acrylic
For my birthday this year I received a bunch of acrylic for rescales from CarrieM and JrJoeD and a nice Robeson from a friend that needed rescaling. Last weekend Jr and I worked the new scales. After working with wood for so long the acrylic was a pleasure to work with. We lightly buffed the blade to preserve the etching and retain the patina. This is a sweet shaver and will always hold a special place in our collection. Hope you enjoy the pics.

It looks even better in person. Got to take a gander at it yesterday. It's a beauty.

Looks great, Joed! How fun to have a razor made from components given to you by people you care about!

Thanked: 346I've got a Robeson Shuredge "My Captain" model in the original red plastic scales. This is one of their last models, and has a chrome-plated blade. The translucent red and chrome is a really pretty combination.
