Sometimes it comes down to the piece of wood too, which it really did in the case, I got a block of Wenge that just popped when I cut out the blanks..... I had ordered new Cocobolo and this piece of Wenge from Bell Forest, good looking Cocobolo is fairly common, but Wenge like this piece is a little harder to come by so Eric and I decided to go for the more unique look...

Glen... you have really cranked out some great work lately. I'm not a huge fan of wood scales, but that looks fantastic. That finish looks excellent

Excellent work! A classic look, but the wood choice sets it apart.

Awesome! I have never really liked the stockers on the renaissance. It might be the solo bolster or the solingen on the scale, I don't know. Those really look great. and probably the nicest looking wenge I have seen.

I am a big fan of your matched pairs!

    Great work Glen!

The scales really compliment the shape of the blade, and the spacers go brilliantly with the wood!

Great work Glen! I really like the grain on that wenge.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
