°°° Wonderedge - Palmera 14 - Filarmonica Doble Temple 13 - Medallon Taurino 13 °°°
Here's an interesting quartet I was lucky enough to work on.
All the razors except the Dubl Duck Wonderedge needed a basic cleanup. The Wonderedge did come with broken scales and had some surface pitting and blemishes. Not the worst I've ever seen but enough for a greaseless and rouges revamp.
I did get specifics as to scale material and design. For the wonderedge I got requested to use G10 Hunter Orange and transfer the inlay and bolsters from the broken scales. The tang of the razor was somewhat crooked so I spend a substantial amount trying to make everything fit. I hate it when that happens but it comes with the territory.
The Palmera got fitted with black paper Micarta and an exact beefier copy of the original scales was requested. Unfortunately the original Palmera inlay was crooked and wavy so we decided not to transfer them as it would ruin the whole beauty. I really love the black paper Micarta.
The Filarmonca Medallon Taurino got dressed in G10 jade Ghost with a tapered G10 Orange Hunter orange wedge and the Doble Temple in Pauacrylic with a G10 black backing and tapered G10 Jade Ghost wedge.
For both straight lines with a straight end was requested
Final work is the honing on all 4 and then they will start a long voyage to my dear friend Albert in Switzerland who has eagerly but patiently been waiting.
Enjoy and have a great WK.

Max, your work is brilliant! I don't know which one I like better. The Wonderedge stands out because of the color and brass transfer but all display a high quality restore. I always enjoy viewing your work!
