    Default Custom Razor continued: Traditional spike point

    Hey fellas, here is my latest grinding work... This one is a more traditional profiled spike point project. At this point just the rough grind is done... (I'm going to wait to do heat treat until I have a few ready).

    here is the blank I started with

    First thing I do is put a center line on my blank (there are lots of ways to do this and shouldn't require too much thought)

    Lookin' good. Is the spine ridged ? round? square?

    oh yeah, I didn't mention that... spine has not been ground yet. I'm debating on filework or a round spine.
