    Default first regrind

Here is a beat up ( I mean beat up, worn out, hone-trashed, headed for the trash can) W&B.

Since it was in such rough shape I thought, "what the heck, lets do a regrind"

So here is the before (this picture doesn't do the razor justice-- that is, it doesn't really show how terrible it was)

Very nice. Its allways fun to find a trashed razor to experiment with new things on

On the regrind, did you work the hollow more & set back the spine, or just work on the hollow?

My main objective was to set back the spine, but I also took out the shoulder, (that's just my style ya know )
You really can't see the extent of wear from the first pics, but the hone wear was enormous.. so, I did both really.

I actually only hit the hollow enough to be even, and to take the pitting down to good steel

I ask because I've got a couple butterknifed razors that I've considered that on...
