wasn't sure whether to put this in here or in beginners. any rate, my name is liam, i'm sorta new to wet shaving, and i'm planning to make the transition from safety razors to straight razors, largely for economic reasons, so i decided to make my own rather than buying one. hopefully i'm doing it right. i know about grinding it wet and making sure i fully anneal it dead soft. basically i'd like to know if i've done anything wrong/need to change anything on this little guy. i know there are problems using wood for scales, but this particular wood is epoxy resin stabilized and fully waterproof, so it should work and won't (according to the manufacturer) warp, as well as not holding moisture. for scale the block is 5.5" long

i'd also like to get a ballpark for how much i should charge for one of these once it's finished, i've got a few offers (but i'm not selling THIS one as i need it) and want to know whether its worth my time to make them for sale. i understand thats difficult to predict til its finished but it would still be useful.

thanks for the help
