Visconti scales for Livi
Hello all,
I've been working on the next scale pattern for one of the guys here on SRP.
He thought it would be cool to see the project as it progresses.
So here we go. This set of scales will be for a Livi. With Master Livi being Italian, I decided to go with 15th cen. Italian illumination for my inpiration on this project.
The scales for this razor are a bit over 8". So, my 8" jewellers saw frame won't work for the ends of the scale. I'm going to have to use my 11" saw frame for each end of the scales. For those of your who have never used an 11" jewellers' saw, it not for the fait of hear, and a real PIA.
The last pic. shows my bench with the 11" frame and the 8" fram off to the left.
enjoy!
