Thanked: 1262Dubl Duck Dwarf
I was happy with this until i went to take pictures and saw a small spot at the 3rd pin i somehow screw up a bit. Will fix it later. This is the first time I have felt brave enough to post something I have worked on.
There is a spot towards the top of the blade i did not completely remove, didn't want to remove any more metal. Overall I'm happy, but still need to get better at removing all the scratches on the buffer.
I wish i would have taken a before picture of the other side of the blade. But I am surprised how easy this razor honed after I removed all the microchips out of the bevel.
oh yeah. I used a progression of 80-120-180-240-400-600 greaseless, emery, grey, green, white, maas.
I used 1000 grit wet/dry and some rubbing compound on the scales.
/whoa... that is a lot of text above. I suck, sorry.

Looks good, Ben the First! I appreciate that you worked to clean up the original scales- it is a nice look, and an important bit of historicity that many restorers/ resto hobbyists overlook.

Great job. The DD Dwarf spike is one of my favorite razors and has a permanent place in my rotation. The steel has such a great feel and level of comfort.

Good job. Great that you kept it original.
