    Thumbs up Friodur | Inox | J.A. Henckels | 15/16 | Black Stallion

The oh so famous Friodur with scalloped worked spine.

The Friodur inlay and Twin symbols are original but were send to me from another smaller sized friodur so i could remove them from the scales and transfer them to the new ones. Basically those big Friodurs come in plane jane black plastic scales.

Material used is black paper micarta with a tapered G10 Hunter Orange wedge. Double pinning at the wedge and a third as the razor has a pretty wide tang. Hardware is a mix of brass and nickel silver.

Now those Friodur are gorgeous and all but a nightmare at times. Glen, Alex and others, both know what I mean dealing with those Friodurs crooked tangs, trying to get this sweet razor to center.

When you're done finalizing everything you suddenly spend more time trying to fix those issues then you did making the scales.

Enjoy and have a great WK.
