    Great work, as always John.

Many moons ago I did some cloisonné work. These scales look great.

This is one of those things where I say ... 'Why didn't I think of that !?'

It's heartwarming to me to see this metal craft still alive and in application.

I am looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I agree that this job is one of John's best -- but I'm biased! This was a commission for my son's birthday and it just arrived today -- just in time. And my wife -- the designer-- actually was an art student at Berkeley in the late 60s!

More photos to come, but it really is a work of art -- executed by a real craftsman.

They aren't really my personal taste but WOW this really makes me have a second think of what scales should look like and what they could look like. Beautifully different. Very nice work!
