Thanked: 1371Great work, as always John.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Many moons ago I did some cloisonné work. These scales look great.
This is one of those things where I say ... 'Why didn't I think of that !?'
It's heartwarming to me to see this metal craft still alive and in application.
I am looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanked: 2I agree that this job is one of John's best -- but I'm biased! This was a commission for my son's birthday and it just arrived today -- just in time. And my wife -- the designer-- actually was an art student at Berkeley in the late 60s!
More photos to come, but it really is a work of art -- executed by a real craftsman.
