Thanked: 995How does that paper steel core shave?
I bet that ivory feels nicely warm in the hand too. Good job.“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power.” R.G.Ingersoll

I´m really happy with this white papersteel for straights. It´s hold a good edge, is good to sharpen and give a smooth shave.
You must pay attention to not overhead it at the forging process and gives him not to many fires but except from that, its an easy to handle steel.
Actually silversteel, white paper steel and damascus (pattern welted steel and not wootz!) are the only steels, that I using for razors. The performance from this steels is very good for that job.
But perhaps I will soon also find a source for real wootz...

Fantastic ! Has to be my favourite so far

That is a beautiful razor I love the unique shape of the scales.
I'm currently restoring my first razor and would love to know where you get those micro fasteners. And what type they are.
