Default Wade & Butcher rework in Carbon Fiber

This one got a new tip, a new notch, and some CF scales. nickel silver rod, stainless washers, and one extra washer in between the tang & scales on one side to correct a crooked tang. these pics are pre-honing. I'll prolly use a couple pieces of tape, because it is pretty close to near wedge.

It wasn't in terrible condition "before":

But, after I had my way with it, its pretty cool looking now

    Very nice work Brad!

I'm still a fan of natural materials, but you always have a way of making that carbon fiber look nice.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Quite the restoration on the blade, that is shiny.
Scales look great too. Beautiful as usual Brad! Great job, and thanks for sharing the pictures.

    Beautiful as always Brad.
May I ask what tools you used to put the new thumbnotch in? I have a very similar W&B, which I'd love to notch-ify

A dremel with a round grinding stone, a LOT of patience and a steady hand

It is usually easier to vice the dremel and free hand with the blade. safer too.

I love the scales you have created, especially the red spacer it adds some really nice yet subtle flare. Where did you learn to form carbon fiber by the way?
