I've given it a few strops when I was mocking it up, and it feels comfortable, not the most natural, but, I have felt many vintage razors that are more difficult to strop than this one
I havent honed it yet, so, we'll see!
even with the holes in the scales, the razor is ever so slightly scale heavy if you open it all the way up. it balances around the pivot pin.... micarta is fairly light too! when you open it up in the shaving position it feels awesome though.

brilliant!!! It is a shame you have such a long wait for your work but it seems to definitely would be worth it. my girl is checkin on sending one to you.. I can only hope it comes out something like this.
