Los Tres Amigos - Wade & Butcher & Celebrated
This is what happens when you gather 10 ounce worth of steel and scale material?
Three Wade & Butcher's 'The Celebrated'. One is 7/8, the other two are 9/8. Pretty impressive when you see those together. I'm still amazed as to where these actually show up and how you guys keep finding them.
They were all fitted in black paper micarta with tapered bloody jasper recon stone. The usual nickel silver pins, stacked brass and ss washers.
They all got the greaseless treatment to get rid of the surface pitting with a few remaining shallow pits left on the 7/8, as that one was the worst of the bunch to start with, followed by the black, gray, white and green rouges to give that final shine.
They all three took an amazing and excellent sharp edge. Very consistent.
Enjoy.
Have a great WK.

My compliments to Maximiliano ~ "El Jefe"The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Usual high standard Max! You have an eye for the perfect scale shape to compliment a blade. He's a lucky chap.
