Just letting you know every time there is a new post on this thread, I view it from page one just so I can see that razor. Really, really cool. Even if it was made out of recycled Russian tank steel a la Islamabad I would want one just for the aesthetics- which are, in my opinion, out-of-this-world.

Hmm.. I think that is the first razor to make my gotta have list. Time to start saving for a nice piece of jewelry for SWMBO if those do become available.

Robert, hopefully immitation is the sincerest form of flattery... You inspired me to make something like this for my own use. (Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of ripping off your design for items that I will make for sale...) I'm happy with how it came out, but it's not as refined as your design. It's in the tempering oven now.

Its a great mix of Japanese and Western styling, and very simple and elegant. Great job!
