So I putted some new scales on. What do you think of this firsttime
restoration. It still shaves well but I'm looking for a new one.Last edited by aaroncatteeuw; 05-13-2010 at 12:40 PM.

Thanked: 0I made them from Wenge.
The blade is from an old Weltmeister from around 1940.
I needed to hone the blade allot to make it sharp again
so it isn't that wide anymore.
That's why I'm looking for an old blade that I can restore.
AƤron.

Looks like a great job, let alone a first attempt. You've given the old girl a new life! It should be a great shaver too.

Thanked: 1371I really like the vintage look of those scales. Nice work.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
