Very smart to have kept it all original. Looks great and you saved another razor from the junk yard.
Very nicely done!

Vraiment magnifique.
What do you do to make the washers so nicely rounded? Do you buy them from microfasteners or do you have a different supply for those nice rounded washers? Do you file them or sand them in some way?

I love the work you do with these old razors! Your extreme care and concern for the original condition of these blades shines out of them- they are most certainly priceless gems when you are done with them, non plus ultra! I am especially impressed by your work with the horn... your work is an inspiration!

I like the looks of your razor, it looks great. This is a great restore.
The before and after on the scales is very dramatic.

Nice save & great job on the scales.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

washers on the wedge are originals. On the pivot, this is standard flat (too flat !) brass washers from here : visserie miniature économique pour l'électronique, le modélisme et l'industrie acier zingué polyamide laiton de M2 à M4 écrous rondelles plates et éventail (DO-ML14)
Both are sanded.
