Thanked: 13245Full Tang rebuild/restore Joseph Rodgers & sons
I could tell you all about how much work this really was 4 tangs and 2 sets of scales before it was done, but heck let the pictures talk...
It was a fully Ivory covered razor with Ivory scales and tang, not tang covers, but a full tang...
It is now Pearl Acrylic through and through...
From a pile of dirty broken parts through a ton of trial and error to finally figuring the whole thing out...

Thanked: 13245Finished
Finally all done,,, this one belongs to our very own Slartibartfast/Ben
Yes even with a complete rebuild it is still possible to balance out the razor, just like it did the day it left the factory...

I love your razors glen, but when you do one with a covered tang,,,WOW! This is a very special one that came out great. I'm sure it will be enjoyed for years to come. Great classic look.

That's very impressive work to me. Is it just the pivot pin going through both the acrylic and the blade that keeps the tang cover on snug?

An interesting job I've only seen one other razor with that kind of tang. Sorry to see the ivory failed but you sure made good on the rebuild
