    Cheers!

Na, the void for the balsa is only minutely smaller than the slabs, pushing them in creates a bit of a friction stay, so theres no real force wanting to bow them. Lapp-able with sandpaper too. Also if you just had the one paddle you could put paste on both sides of the same balsa slab and turn it at will in the frame.

    Very Nice,
I ran laser and water jet cutters for 5 years cutting timber, acrylic, brass, aluminium, stainless steel, long before I was into straight razors. It makes me want to cry thinking what I could do with them now, Have fun

Man I was hoping for some lasers mounted to a sink that shoot out and sharpen your razors for you automatically. This post is a major let down!

    Very nice!

I get the same thing re: 'paddles' - a friend-of-a-friend is into that sort of thing and had me make him a leather strop with no hardware attached to have a bit of fun with...

Takes all sorts to make a world!

    Regards,
    Neil

    Nice Job Matt.
Does the paddle bottom out in the frame ? Thinking you might get some cross contamination of particles if you paste both sides
