    Default Abalone all around

I did this razor several months ago but I had this hunk of abalone and acrylic rod in my lathe table for months. I decided to chuck it on the lathe last night and make somthing of it. I really hate turning acrylic, takes forever because you have to make very thin cuts. Then wet sand it up into micromesh. Once that is finished I hit it with some white rouge then some chromium oxide and Renaissance wax for a crystal clear shine. I decided to put a black badger brush in it to contrast the colorful abalone. Turned out pretty good.

Very nice. I agree acrylic sucks. I hate watching yoyospin turn acrylic he is actually quite a bit faster than I am. I really don't know how he does it.
