Nice, job! I would call it a custom, though! IMO, I agree about the contrasting wedge and, while lots use them, those big washers kindof look like ...big washers! maybe some with smaller OD would be nicer? But hey, thats just my opinion.I bet it's rock solid, though ! I wonder if brass washers this size would not be better as well. Looks like you worked long and hard to peen them! You asked! Thanks for posting it. I would bet it's a fine, stiffer shaver! Love it!

Agreed! The scales are wonderful! Are they homemade? And how, because that is really impressive. I agree in making the wedge in a contrast color material.

This is Moshtamp razor (Мосштамп), made in USSR in Moscow. If you see double digit number on a tang -that's a manufacturing year.
