Wolma Special
Hi all. For your enjoyment (hopefully) here is a Wolma 6/8ths hollow grind dressed in bocote....
The scales are oiled and waxed, the pins are brass with stacked steel and brass washers and the wedge is bone.
Must remember to take some before shots next time! Thanks for looking
Michael

Nice one. I really like the look of that razor, so clean and simple. You put a nice polish on it.

Excellent work! What exactly did you use for the finish on the wood? Tung oil then seal with wax?

Thanks! I use Danish oil. Not sure exactly what's in it but it smells like it's got tung oil in it. I soak the scales in it for a few hours then after they are fully dry I give them a coat or two of a good quality beeswax based polish. This method is common over hear for knife scales.
Thanks for all the kind coments guys. It means a lot.
