    Ironwood was my second guess. I have been doing a lot of turning with desert ironwood burl lately. Very nice wood.

    this stuff was fromm OZ and its real name is black Mulga, Acacia citrinoviridis

    not the desert iron wood liek i also work with

    I have a didgeridoo made out of Black Mulga. Nice work on the bellied hollow. Let us know what you think of it where it counts, in the shave!

    Beautiful! I have never heard that grind called a "bellied grind". I know it as a "double hollow grind"
