August Plümacher - Gesetzlich Geschützt - Blue/Black G10
Gorgeous vintage August Plümacher - Wald Solingen - Gesetzlich Geschützt (which pretty much means 'registered trademark' with a very beautiful worked spine.
Blade was in pretty good condition but needed a good polish as it had some small patches of residual remaining gold wash on the tang and some faint patina. Cleaned up real nice.
Blade was fitted with requested G10 Blue/Black, red G10 tapered wedge and stainless steel, brass, nickel silver hardware. Everything fits like a glove.
Can't wait to hone this puppy up and give it a spin before I need to wave goodbye.
Enjoy.
Brand: August Plümacher
Grind: 1/2 hollow
Scales: G10 Blue/Black
Wedge: G10 Red
Pins: Nickel Silver
Washers: SS/Brass

I love the coloring of those scales. Reminds me of a fish - in a good way.

Beautiful razor in beautiful new clothes. That spine work is something !
I bet she's a joy to shave with. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 0That may be the nicest looking razor I've ever seen. The understated scales are a perfect match for the blade with it's heavily worked spine. Very nice work indeed.
