Default Pair of Friodur 8/8 in Horn

These are not meant to overshadow Aquanin's awesome friodur he just posted...., lol. Just a coincedence! I had them done almost 2 weeks ago but wasn't allowed to post because they were a fathers day gift! some lucky dad out there....

2 pins requested, and you can see the massive wedges it took to get the scales clearing the tangs.

Inlay xfer from a smaller 4/8 friodur, epoxy set onto horn and then excess epoxy meticulously cleaned up using razor blades and a steady hand.

mixture of silver and brass hardware between the two razors

    and here they are together..

Man those are nice I love the Friodur's and love horn scales. If I wasn't saving up for a Japanese razor and a dissecting microscope. I would be saving up for a Friodur like one of those. Maybe I'll just have to ad that to my list and make it 3 things I'm saving for.

I really like the horn rescale, very classy. I've been saving up for a window unit AC unit for my lil shop. Got it, just have to install it. Now I can start sticking some back for eye candy like this that you tease us with...shame on you!!

Good stuff! Some lucky dad indeed.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
