Razor pron: 9/8 W&B, Rodgers, 2 more
Here are a few more I've finished throughout the last few days. been busy.
first is a 9/8 W&B.
Next is a Joseph rodgers in black horn / lined horn wedge
next is an Ontario Cutlery stuck in some paper ivory micarta. I even did washerless pins on this one, was going for a real ivory look.
And finally, this razor, a "Southington Cutlery" was a bit rough around the edges, I gave it an appropriately imperfect set of horn scales with a 3rd pin per request. really turned out nice, the scales fit the razor like a glove

Very nice indeed - simple
Brad,
You know...one thing I like about this work is the simplicity . Sometimes, less is more...in this case, much much more . There's nothing "busy" about the scales to distract the eye from the beauty of the blade. I particularly like the "Ontario Cutlery with paper ivory micarta"...It "speaks" to me. Call me the "Blade Whisperer" , if you will.
Well done .

Up to your usual standard, Brad. Fantastic work on the scales, & nice to see you've not sanded away all the history of the blade.

As far as rebuilds go I like the "Southington Cutlery" job the most. More polishing than I would like but the package there is very good looking

Great work Brad, I especially like those washerless pins. I never see those being fitted these days.

As all the other work I've seen you post, these blades are gorgeous! You've certainly mastered the art of letting the steel shine (even in their new clothes)!
